Twenty minutes north from Praia de Forte you arrive at the beach of Imbassai, to enjoy the wonderful encounter of the river with the sea, and after another twenty minutes on Linha Verde Road, you arrive at the town of Sauipe, from there, by three kilometers of dirt road you arrive at the mouth of Sauipe River where, if you are fortunate, they’ll prepare a fish barbecue for you. There you can admire the wealth of life and lights in a short stroll by the wetland, and, if it is high tide, have a return ride by canoe down the river. Already nine kilometers in the direction of Salvador, it is cosy Itacimirim Beach, opened to swim as in the tide high whatever as in the low.
